Pictures/Photos
Here are some great
photos from a gardener
in Canada. This is in
zone 3. This one has
some wonderful colors
of delphinium (which
is one of my favorite
flowers) in front of a
weeping birch.

Delphinium in
purple, phlox in pink,
bleeding heart up
front with the light
pink flowers
and I believe the
blue is bachelor's
buttons.

Lilies

Dianthus

Please
email me your
garden photos. (Make
sure you are from the
North: from
Pennsylvania up to
Canada) I would love
to show off your hard
work and effort. It
will help others with
color combinations and
finding good plants
that fit their
location too.
Please give me a
narration of the
plants you have
growing.
Fall out my window

This is my
garden in the fall.
Right now the flowers
blooming in the front
are burgundy
Chrysanthemums,
Galardia or Blanket
flower behind them, to
the right I planted
anuals of marigold.
There is also Yarrow
blooming towards the
stairs. These are good
long blooming flowers
but only this tall
variety. This one
lasts from summer into
fall and is 4-5 feet
tall.

This is a
summer shot of
my garden.
The tall blue
spikes are
delphinium. Next
to those are the
tall yellow
flowers of
yarrow.
The yellow
flowers in the
center are false
sunflower.
The tree is a
type of crab
apple I believe.
It has small
white flowers in
the spring and
produces a small
fruit that
tastes like a
bitter
apple/pear. And
in the front at
the bottom of
the photo are
happy,
black-eyed
susan's. |
